Adfam

Our Dream

Adfam is a charity organisation which is helping families that are badly affected by drugs and liquor. Here at Adfam, we desire to provide help for persons influenced by someone else's alcohol or drug abuse, and also give them a chance to be a part of a supportive community and to enjoy mental and bodily well being.

Alcohol and drug abuse can endanger and eventually ruin family relations and harmony.

Our Goal

We support frontline workers and influence decision-makers to stop this happening and also we empower family member and careers.

What We Value

We listen to frontline workers and families As we know that individuals have answers if they have face or confront challenges. So, we use compassion and evidence to inform, encourage and empower persons influenced by a loved one's substance abuse as well as the workers who help them. We aim to provide both groups with resources, knowledge, belief and ways to help themselves, their communities, customers and peers.

We're Driven By What Works

The influence of both drug and alcohol abuse on family harmony is intense and diverse. We put lots of care and focus on our work as we tend to use most effective methods for the real world. We accept evidence regardless of how different it might be, paying equal attention to both practical evidence and official research data in order to do this. We listen to our peers, supporters and friends and we base our work on their advice.

We Are Dedicated To Accomplish Our Goal

We focus on providing the best quality of work to our clients as we are not kidding about our work and our organisation. We recognise that injustice and discrimination are the biggest threats towards individual and family recovery from drug and alcohol abuse. We advocate for just society of individuals with equal rights and opportunities regardless of their drug or alcohol orientation to make a contribution using individual potential towards nation building activities through collective participation.

With Whom Do We Work

  • Families, companions and carers - Our purpose is to accompany the needy to freedom from substance use through encouragement and persuasion to draw strength from within to participate in productive activities.
  • Frontline Workers - We wanted to ensure the support the experts are convey is compelling and suitable as we construct the confidence, limit and ability of experts.
  • Decision-makers- In order to shape policy and ensure they understand the families issues we work with everyday, we engage and influence key national and local decision-makers.
